Quarter One Done

 Quarter One Done

ISSUE 2025             Sunday, 08/24/25              08/03/10

This quarter, I gained new knowledge about the 10 different subjects that we have, and I also discovered morals to carry with me throughout my life. A lesson that I can never forget is that we should always be aware and sensitive. We don’t know what is okay and not okay to the people around us, and with that, we should take into consideration what our actions will cause. Through the different activities we have had, I also learned my strengths and weaknesses, and it helped me to understand myself better. These valuable insights helped me develop not only to broaden my knowledge but also to become a better person.

During this quarter, I faced many challenges. A problem that I struggled with the most was balancing my academics and my sports. It’s really hard to balance both, and that’s why I and my family decided to not continue taekwondo this year. Time management is hard, especially when you’re part of the STEP program. Furthermore, self-doubt and being drained were the struggles I also experienced. Because of the many things we are doing every day, it has become really draining, and it has caused me to have constant stress that leads to having fevers often. Despite these challenges, I learned valuable lessons about perseverance and the importance of being able to rest.

I addressed each obstacle by managing my time and making a to-do list. I also prioritized the task that needed to be accomplished sooner. Also, the most important thing to do when solving problems is to be able to get enough rest because if you're too drained, you will not be able to address your issues. I also used strategies to overcome these problems, and that helped me a lot. By adopting strategies, I was able to navigate the obstacles of this quarter more effectively.

Moving on, I will continue to work on the better version of myself. I will be more productive and try not to drain myself. I will use the lessons that I have learned from this quarter and use them for the greater good. I promise to be careful about my actions and promise to be more patient. I will work on my goals and make sure to not let anything distract me from achieving them. By working on my goals, I am confident that I can achieve personal growth and make a big impact on the community.——————————————————————————————————
