Jose Rizal is considered the national hero of the Philippines.
His greatest contribution to society was inspiring Filipinos to fight for freedom through his writings. His novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo opened the eyes of many to the injustices under Spanish rule.

Rizal showed that change could be achieved not only through violence but also through education and awareness. He believed that knowledge and unity were powerful tools in achieving independence. His ideas continue to inspire

Filipinos today.

For me, Rizal’s greatest contribution is his courage to speak the truth. He gave hope to Filipinos and showed that one person’s voice can spark a movement. That is why he is called the “face of the Philippines.”
