Valentine’s Day has always felt magical to me. Every February 14, people around the world celebrate love, inspired by the story of Saint Valentine. We often see flowers, chocolates, heart-shaped decorations, and sweet messages everywhere. But beyond the gifts and surprises, Valentine’s Day reminds us of the importance of expressing our feelings to the people who matter most.
Here in the Philippines, Valentine’s Day is not only for couples. Families, friends, and even classmates find ways to celebrate together. In cities like Manila, mass weddings and special events are held, making the day even more meaningful. I’ve noticed how simple gestures—a handwritten note, a warm hug, or a sincere “thank you”—can make someone’s day brighter
Always on Valentine’s Day” means that love should not be limited to just one day each year. Love should be shown in everyday actions—through patience, understanding, and kindness. If we choose to care for others consistently, then every day can feel just as special as Valentine’s Day.
